Two antique Westerwald stoneware eng halskruiken from Germany, ca. 1880–1920, with egg-shaped bodies and narrow necks, grey-blue salt glaze, relief decoration with a coat of arms and cobalt-blue floral motifs, about 17.5 cm tall, 10.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm in diameter, in a fair antique condition with heavy wear and possible missing small parts.

Antique Westerwald stoneware narrow-neck flasks – Germany, ca. 1880–1920
Two fine antique flasks of Westerwald stoneware, recognizable by the typical gray-blue color and the durable salt glaze.
They are classic narrow-neck flasks with an egg-shaped body and a slender neck.
Features:
Relief decoration with a coat of arms
Cobalt blue floral motifs
Decorative mask under the pouring spout
Traditional German craftsmanship
Origin & period:
Manufactured in the Westerwald region (Germany), possibly by, among others, Marzi & Remy or Peter Gerz. Dating: ca. 1880–1920.
Condition:
Good antique condition with normal signs of use.
Nice collectible and decorative pair with a timeless look.
