Lot of 3 vintage Agfa Paramat cameras – Working (see description) – With original extras
Magnificent set of three classic Paramat series cameras from Agfa, highly representative pieces of mid-20th century German photography. An ideal lot for both collectors and fans of analog photography who want to enjoy operational cameras.
The cameras have not been tested with film, but they are in proper working order. They have been carefully cleaned, some age-related defects corrected, preserving their original character.
General condition:
• Aesthetic: 4/5 (very good condition with mild signs of use)
• Optics: no defects noticeable that would affect taking
• Selenium exposure meter functional. A plus.
• Shutter speeds correct (though full exact accuracy has not been fully confirmed), Bulb and A modes operational OK.
Includes:
• 3 Agfa Paramat cameras
• Compatible lens hood
• Original case of one Paramat camera
• Original Paramat camera user manual
• Original brochure of the three models (very interesting for collectors)
-The Óptima Parat silver is in very good condition. With clean lenses, free of mold, dust, or scratches. Some of the grease used by Agfa, which over time turned green and was sticky, has been removed. Everything slides smoothly. Diaphragm blades have been cleaned. However, the frame edge of a frame is a little loose.
- These cameras have a short tripod socket. I recommend not overtightening to avoid breaking the lid and causing light leaks.
- They can be used as donors for spare parts since they are in very good condition.
These are sturdy and elegant cameras, with that classic metal-and-texture design, very attractive for both use and display.
A lot that is difficult to find in this condition with original accessories. Perfect for starting in traditional Half Frame analog photography or expanding a collection with authentic pieces.
Very well balanced between aesthetics, functionality, and historical value. Hard to find three units together in this state with original documentation. The photos serve as the description. The tripod is not included.
