Antique silver salt cellar set from Germany, ca. 1900, in 800 silver, comprising a richly decorated holder with a glass insert and a matching 7 cm spoon, total weight 79.8 g with the salt cellar measuring about 7 × 5 × 3 cm and the spoon 7 cm long.

Antique silver salt cellar set with spoon – Germany – circa 1900 – 800 silver – in glass holder
Beautiful antique silver salt-cellar set, consisting of a refined silver holder with glass insert and matching silver spoon. This elegant set comes from Germany and dates to around 1900.
The holder is richly decorated with garlands, floral motifs and a central medallion, resting on graceful feet. The original glass inner container is still present and in good condition.
The accompanying spoon is also beautifully crafted and bears clear silver assay marks. Silversmith unknown

Silver content: 800/1000
Origin: Germany
Period: circa 1900
Spoon also certified with 800 silver
