Description from the seller
Glass vase with silver-incised decorations – 1950s Art Deco style
Elegant artistic glass vase dating from the 1950s, crafted in full Art Deco revival style, characterized by a harmonious line and a striking presence. The bulbous body with a flared neck evokes classic models reinterpreted in the mid-century period, with a perfect balance between elegance and modernity.
The glass body, in a warm hue between amber and amethyst, is enriched by a refined etched and frosted floral motif, interspersed with a continuous ornamental band of geometric taste. The silver accents add brightness and depth to the decoration, creating a suggestive play of reflections that changes with the light. Particularly fascinating when backlit, where the glass reveals all its quality and workmanship.
This is a highly decorative object, ideal as a centerpiece on a console, a table, or a sideboard, or usable as a vase for large floral arrangements. Perfect also in modern or contemporary settings, where it adds character and warmth.
Dimensions: height 26 cm, width 19 cm, mouth diameter 11.5 cm.
