Two small 833 silver salvas/anelheiras from Portugal, dating to the 19th/20th century, with a total weight of 20 g, in used condition showing normal wear, light surface marks and natural silver patina, the larger piece having a cut on the left side.

Set of 2 small salvers / ring holders – 833 Silver – 19th/20th century
Description:
Set consisting of two small salvers / ring holders in 833 silver, dating from the 19th century, with rich relief decoration in rococo and floral-inspired motifs.
The larger piece features a cut-out edge and is profusely decorated with scrolls, shells, and floral elements, typical of the 19th-century ornamental aesthetic, surrounding a smooth polished center. The smaller piece has a wavy edge with floral decoration and relief scrolls, creating a harmonious and elegant set.
This type of small silver items was frequently used as place salvers, ring holders, jewelry boxes, or containers for small objects.
