A silver five-arm candelabrum by D. Aubert of The Hague, dating from 1960–1970, 43 cm high, 27 cm wide and 27 cm deep, weighing 1.74 kg, in good used condition with minor signs of aging, in Louis XVI style with a beaded foot and glass holders, hallmarked 835, ZII and DA.

Beautiful and impressive five-armed candelabrum crafted by the renowned Hague silversmith D. Aubert. The candelabrum is 43 cm high and 27 cm wide. The total weight is 1.740 kg.
The candelabrum is executed in an elegant Louis XVI style (Louis XVI), recognizable by refined details and classical symmetry. The base and the candle holders are decorated with a timeless pearl border. The base is furthermore adorned with graceful foliate scrolls, giving the piece a rich, antique appearance. The candelabrum stands on a sturdy, square stepped base. The upper fixture is demountable, allowing the base to be used as a stylish single candlestick.
The piece is clearly and multiple times stamped on the base:
• Hallmark '835': Represents 2nd standard silver (83.5% pure silver)
• Assay mark 'ZII': Dutch assay/verification stamp for works in trade (since 1953)
• Master mark 'DA+': The official hallmark of the renowned firm D. Aubert, The Hague. Carefully packed, and insured shipping.
