An antique 19th-century mirror, with a carved wooden frame gilded with gold leaf.

The mirror is in the Louis XV style, with volutes and ornaments featuring a Rococo design in carved wood covered with gold leaf, typical of the Baroque style.
The ornamental motifs are vegetal, with acanthus leaves common in the interior decoration of churches in Portugal.
There are flaws and losses due to aging and the years of this frame, which are visible in the photographs.
The mirror has a “bisotê” finish typical of period mirrors and is in excellent condition.

Espelho antigo séc XIX, com moldura de madeira entalhada e dourada a folha de ouro.

Espelho e de estilo Luís XV, com detalhes de volutas e ornamentos com um design Rócócó em madeira esculpida e revestida com folhas de ouro típicas do estilo Barroco. 
Os motivos ornamentais são vegetalistas, sendo folhas de acanto comuns na decoração de  interiores das igrejas em Portugal. 
Existem falhas e faltas dado ao envelhecimento e anos desta moldura, que são visíveis nas fotografias. 
O espelho tem um acabamento “bisotê” típicos dos espelhos de época e está em excelente estado.
