Description from the seller

A world globe with a diameter of 30 cm dating from the 1930s, with a metal frame covered in glossy paper. The pedestal is made of wood and metal.
The history of the Vallardi family as Milanese publishers, booksellers, and printers begins in the 18th century, when Francesco Cesare Vallardi started the business in 1750. The firm became an important cultural hub, frequented by figures such as Giuseppe Parini and Alessandro Volta.
The globe is in good condition considering the signs of time that have obviously worn the drawn surface.
