Ginger jar in Chinese porcelain blue and white from the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911), height 16.5 cm, one piece, in excellent condition, with the title Blue and white.
Description from the seller
ginger jar (or bojan) in blue and white Chinese porcelain. These jars were traditionally used to store and export ginger or spices.
The piece features characteristics typical of Chinese export ware, with details that aid in its identification:
Style and Decoration: The jar displays a classic blue decoration under glaze on a cream-white ground. The central pattern appears to depict a landscape scene with architectural elements or stylized ritual objects, common in pieces from the Qing period.
Probable Dating: Visually identical specimens are often dated to the 19th century, belonging to the Qing Dynasty. Some pieces of similar style can date back to the 17th century (early Qing) or even to the Ming period, although the finish of this jar is more consistent with 19th-century export production.
Condition: The neck shows a rough or earthen texture, suggesting it originally had a lid (usually wood or porcelain) or that it was sealed with an oiled fabric to preserve the contents.
I will use the best registered packaging and shipping company.
approximate height - 16.5 cm
this piece is flawless with no defects
