Semflex with Berthiot 4.5/75mm lens, serial Boitier 400 649, a 6×6 film camera in near mint condition, tested and in working order, compatible with 120/220 film.
Description from the seller
Semflex, a durable and sturdy camera equipped with a Berthiot 1.45 / 75 mm four-element lens, with the Orec shutter from Cloude Forge.
Analogue camera SEMPLEX in Excellent condition
In the late 1940s, after World War II, Germany was heavily bombed and there were no more new cameras coming from that country: the Leicas had been spared due to the existence of a nearby interrogation center for Allied war aviators and the looting of their production equipment.
Poul Royet and his SEM: Société d’Économie Mixte conquered the 6x6 market with a twin-lens telemetric camera, now free from Rolleiflex and Ikoflex.
He designed, with Semflex, a durable and rugged camera equipped with a Berthiot 1.45 / 75 mm four-element lens, with the Orec shutter from Cloude Forge.
One could say that it’s a copy of the Rolleicord.
The camera works well,
