A complete set of seven Baccarat crystal port glasses from France, dating to 1930–1940, in excellent condition with minimal wear, featuring subtle acid-etched detailing and one signed glass among the unsigned pieces; height 7–9 cm and top diameter 4.7–6 cm.
Description from the seller
A refined set of seven antique Baccarat port / spirit glasses, crafted in the early 20th century (pre-1936), showcasing the exceptional elegance and craftsmanship of the maison during its historic period.
Each glass reflects the timeless sophistication of Baccarat’s hand-finished production, featuring delicate acid-etched detailing (acidage) that enhances the purity and brilliance of the crystal. The decoration is subtle yet highly refined, embodying the understated luxury characteristic of early Baccarat creations.
The set remains in very good antique condition overall, with light traces of time consistent with age (some missing), adding authenticity and charm to the ensemble. One glass bears a manufacturing imperfection, typical of early hand production and further confirming its period origin. One glass is signed, while the others remain unsigned, which is common for pieces from this era.
Despite these minor historical nuances, the set presents beautifully as a cohesive and elegant whole, ideal for collectors or for sophisticated service of port, liqueurs, or fine spirits.
A rare opportunity to acquire a complete set of early Baccarat crystal stemware, where each piece carries its own subtle individuality and historical character.
