Description from the seller
An icon born to compete. Official document and representation of the BMW M3 E30, introduced in 1986 as BMW Motorsport’s most radical response to the demands of the DTM Group A and touring car championships. It wasn’t simply a sporty version of the 3 Series: it was a car conceived from the very first sketch to dominate circuits and translate that experience to the road.
The BMW M3 E30 is the very definition of homologation turned into legend. Its widened bodywork, muscular wheel arches, the more raked windshield and the unmistakable rear spoiler were not aesthetic gestures but technical solutions aimed at optimizing aerodynamics and high-speed stability. Every detail—from the flatter rear window to the specific panels—served a clear objective: to win.
Under the hood lay the mythical four-cylinder S14, a 2.3-liter naturally aspirated engine (later 2.5 in Evolution versions) capable of surpassing 200 hp in its early variants and reaching even higher figures in special editions. It had a mechanical roar as it revved, delivering power progressively and precisely, paired with a manual transmission that demanded the driver’s full involvement.
Its dynamic balance, communicative steering, and pure rear-wheel drive offered a direct, analog driving experience, without electronic filters. The M3 E30 wasn’t driven; it was piloted. It was a car that rewarded technique, sensitivity, and commitment at the wheel.
In competition, it accumulated titles in DTM, the European Touring Car Championship, and multiple national championships, becoming the most successful touring car of its era. On the street, it became a symbol of character, German precision, and uncompromising sports spirit.
Today, the BMW M3 E30 is much more than a classic: it is an absolute benchmark, a cult piece that represents the purest essence of BMW Motorsport and the golden age of analogue sports cars.
Comes with a black wooden frame and synthetic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for safe transport until you have it in your hands. External measurements are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
Large-format print with gallery-quality. Museum-grade cotton canvas paper, 340 g/m2.
FRAME INCLUDED, you’ll only need to hang it on the wall. Shipped inside a wooden box to prevent any impact. See the photos.
We ship worldwide, well-protected via UPS/DHL/FedEx with insurance and shipment tracking the day after payment. You can visit our profile to see other beautiful Porsche items we have available!
