Description from the seller
This very nice and delightful running Triumph Spitfire 1300 MK3 from 1969 is a beautiful eye-catcher! It is a car that was originally sold new in the Netherlands, so it still has its original Dutch license plate. The mileage is fully verifiable as well, see the photos. Because of its age, it is exempt from the APK (Dutch periodic vehicle inspection) and also from road tax.
Documents:
The car has a Dutch registration; if desired (for an additional €50) the car can be supplied with an EU-export document so that a foreign buyer can easily register the Porsche. A COC / CVO certificate is also possible for an additional €70.
Bodywork:
Very few signs of use, which is expected given its 56 years. See the photos.
It has an older soft top, which is hand-operated (easy to open and close), in reasonable condition; this is really a well-tended sunny-day car, with the roof practically unused and stowed under the tonneau cover. There are spoke wheel covers mounted on the steel wheels. The underside of the car is in very good condition. The paintwork on the body looks very neat, as do the chrome parts. All in all, a very neat car.
Technical:
The car starts immediately and has recently received a new battery. The tires are in good condition; several parts have been replaced, such as the distributor, the coil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. The gauges on the dashboard work fine.
Interior:
The interior is neat, with some repairs and signs of use; there are MK4 seats installed, as well as safety belts. That was not mandatory in 1969, but it is certainly safer. See the photos. A picnic basket is included, which is completely full of documentation, brochures, and so on.
Transport:
The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands and can of course be picked up here. The car can be delivered within the Netherlands for an additional €150 (excluding the Wadden Islands).
For foreign bidders:
Delivery/transport:
The seller can have the car delivered relatively cheaply across the entire EU by a professional transporter.

Request help with registration from a third-party service provider.Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
