Rectangular brass frame richly decorated with raised motifs in the Renaissance taste: leafy scrolls, oval cartouches, beaded friezes and a pediment topped by a mascaron. Typical of the Napoléon III era (eclecticism.....)
Relief work obtained by stamping or casting, with a brown-green patina and traces of oxidation on the back. Presence of a hanging ring. Interior without glass or backing.

French work from the late 19th century.

Cadre rectangulaire en laiton richement orné de motifs en relief dans le goût Renaissance : rinceaux feuillagés, cartouches ovales, frises perlées et fronton sommé d’un mascaron. Typique de l'époque Napoléon III (éclectisme.....)
Travail en relief obtenu par estampage ou moulage, avec patine brun-vert et traces d’oxydation au revers. Présence d’un anneau d’accrochage. Intérieur sans verre ni fond. 

Travail français de la fin du XIXème siècle.
