Description from the seller

Rare imperial service of 53 pieces in white porcelain. This specific pattern, characterized by a white body with vertical blue lines in a Blue Laurel motif and blue trim, is currently discontinued (discontinued).

It belongs to pattern 11183 from the Schlaggenwald manufactory, a historic piece of Bohemian porcelain. Founded in 1792 in Horní Slavkov (then Schlaggenwald), this factory was the first successful porcelain manufactory in Bohemia.

Haas & Czjzek: The Schlaggenwald mark is closely tied to the Haas family and partner Johann Czjzek, who led the company to become the largest porcelain producer of the Habsburg monarchy in the 19th century.

Imperial Supplier: In 1812, the manufactory became an official supplier to Emperor Francis I of Austria.

Production ranges from Empire and Rococo Revival styles to Art Deco pieces of the 1930s. The company was nationalized after 1945 and continued to operate under various state names before returning to independence.
