Very elegant cup in finely chased bronze, resting on a circular pedestal decorated with palm leaves. 
The body is adorned with a raised vegetal frieze and flanked by two pierced handles of geometric shape. 

The domed lid presents a central medallion with an antique profile (Roman-inspired) surrounded by radiating motifs. 

It is surmounted by a handle in the shape of an eagle with wings spread, imperial symbol commonly used under Napoleon III. 

In good condition.

Très élégante coupe en bronze finement ciselé, reposant sur un piedouche circulaire décoré de palmettes. 
La panse est ornée d'une frise végétale en relief et flanquée de deux anses ajourées de forme géométrique. 

Le couvercle bombé présente un médaillon central à profil antique (inspiration romaine) entouré de motifs rayonnants. 

Il est surmonté d'une prise en forme d'aigle aux ailes déployées, symbole impérial courant sous napoléon III.
