Antique, exclusive French-style box for housing a Napoleon III-era clock from the mid-19th century, crafted in solid ebony and mahogany with exquisite marquetry work, bone inlays, and beveled crystal in the center to view the interior piece. Interior lined in red velvet in very good condition for its age. A true collectible, unique and unreproducible. No restorations and original to the period, with only cleaning to make it shine in all its splendor. A one-of-a-kind piece!
