Description from the seller
A classic Roskopf Patent pocket watch, model 6269, dating from the late 19th century.
The watch comes from a long‑term private collection. The previous owner spent a lifetime collecting and restoring mechanical timepieces. The watch has been stored for several years without being wound or serviced and is therefore offered as a non‑tested mechanical project or for spare parts.
Roskopf watches are known for their robust construction and historical importance as some of the earliest mass‑produced pocket watches in Europe. The 6269 model is sought after by collectors due to its characteristic dial, Roman numerals, and the iconic Roskopf emblem.
