Antique adjustable piano stool, often identified as Napoléon III style. These pieces generally date from the late 19th century or early 20th century (around 1900–1920).
Made of turned wood, frequently beech or birch, with a blackened or ebonized finish.
Mechanism: It features a central metal screw system allowing the seat height to be adjusted by rotation.
Seat: The illustrated model has a square padded seat upholstered in black fabric, although many original models feature red velvet or leather.
Base: It rests on four worked feet, often connected by a central stretcher to ensure stability.
