Designed by Tom Dixon for Tom Dixon, the Etch reflects a novel approach to light where geometry, technique, and decorative finesse come together. The design combines industrial precision with a pronounced sculptural character.
The Etch is characterized by a fine-perforated metal structure, built from facets that filter the light in a distinctive way. Through the openings, a lively play of light and shadow emerges on the wall and in the space, making the lamp not only illuminate but also create a visual effect. The geometric form gives the design a modern and architectural presence.
In use, the lamp diffuses warm, atmospheric light, ideal for hallways, living spaces, or as a decorative accent beside a bed or seating area. Thanks to its compact size and distinctive light image, the Etch makes a strong addition to the interior both on its own and when combined with multiple units.
