Philips CD-634 CD player, manufactured in 1991, tested and working with excellent physical condition, featuring a CDM‑4 mechanism, coaxial digital and analogue outputs with volume control, includes power cord and remote control, weight 5 kg.

Very nice sounding CDM-4 swing arm laser loaded bitstream CD player from Philips.
All possible functions, also random play.
This is A class CD player and was in the Netherlands one of the most expensive models (Nfl 910,00 while in Holland the normal wages where Nfl 1200,00 per month in 1990).
It has a warm and natural sound. Recognizes titles of CD's also...a nice extra. Has Coax, standard analogue connection and a analogue connection with volume control.
New tray gear and belt placed

With new not original remote control.

This CD 634 from late 1989, it makes a beautifully made and with many features, including FTS. FTS stands for Favorite Track Selection, which meant that favorite songs or passages could be stored in two different memory slots. You could then store pop or classical songs separately, for example. When you inserted the CD, the name of the song, the artist or composer, the soloist, or the singer would automatically appear on the display. Music Scan, the quick display of the intros of all songs on the CD, was also among the possibilities. Furthermore, there were features such as adjustable display lighting, a digital output, personal playback presets, fade-in and fade-out, and... fully infrared remote control. Gross price at the time: 910 guilders...
