Description from the seller

On the left: Saint Methodius of Thessalonica
Appears in episcopal vestments (omophorion, miter) and a cross, indicating his bishop status and missionary work.
On the right: Saint Cyril (Constantine the Philosopher)
Dresses as a monk and holds a scroll with Slavic writing, alluding to the creation of the Glagolitic alphabet and the translation of liturgical texts.
Top
At the top appears God the Father (represented in an anthropomorphic form, somewhat more typical of late Russian art than of classical Byzantine), blessing from heaven within a luminous triangle, symbol of the Trinity.

This type of icon is typical of the Slavic tradition (especially Russian or Balkan, 18th–19th centuries) and celebrates:

The evangelization of the Slavic peoples
The creation of liturgy in the vernacular language
The role of both saints as “Apostles to the Slavs”
