Special and authentic Dutch street name sign from the 1960s with the inscription “Arturo Toscanini Street”. Executed in classic dark blue enamel with white, raised letters. A characterful object with a clear link to music history.

Under the street name it reads: “Italian conductor 1867–1957”. Arturo Toscanini was one of the most influential conductors of the 20th century. He was known for his precision, powerful interpretations, and led, among others, the NBC Symphony Orchestra. His name on a street sign underlines his international significance within classical music.

The sign is made of metal with an enamel coating, a durable technology that was widely used for street signs in the 1960s. The bright typography and the deep blue give the sign a timeless appearance.
