Description from the seller
Hebdomas watch with 8-day movement.
Watch from the late 19th/early 20th century. Once wound, it continues to run for 8 days.
Silver case (see photos for details) with rose gold-plated profiles.
On the case back are engraved the serial number and the silver marks. There is also a date of repair (26/03/18) scratched with the watchmaker's initials.
The case is well worn, with small dents and scratches, but the dial is absolutely perfect: no chips, scratches, discolorations, or cracks. It’s fairly rare. The Arabic numerals are surrounded by a delicate silver-colored decoration. There are other silver and gold leaves and branches. Baroque-style hands. The mainspring barrel is visible, with the rivet/pivot embellished with tiny curls.
Pushbutton for hour adjustment next to the winding crown.
The hands rotate without any problem.
Attention: the watch needs repair as it is NOT functioning.
Diameter 4.8 cm and height (including the ring for the chain) 6.8 cm
Tracked and insured shipping.
Coming from a non-smoking home with no pets
