Handwritten fragment of a Torah scroll (Sefer Torah) in Hebrew. Authentic, written by a Sofer (scribe) on reddish animal parchment - vellum (known as 'gvil'). The dimensions including the frame: 74 x 41 cm. 
The text fragments are from Genesis - chapters 48 and 49: Jacob's blessings for his sons and the sons of Joseph, and instructions surrounding his death.

De tekst fragmenten zijn uit Genesis - hoofdstuk 48 en 49: De zegeningen van Jakob voor zijn zonen en de zonen van Jozef, en instructies rondom zijn overlijden.
