Tibetan Ritual Conch in Solid Silver and Turquoise.
Origin: Tibet or Nepal. Era: 20th century.
​Materials: Solid silver (tested/punched), natural conch shell, natural turquoise cabochon.
​Iconography: The imposing silver mount is a masterpiece of repoussé work. The main wing is adorned with a Cloud Dragon (Druk), symbol of spiritual sovereignty, whose scales and whiskers are carved with great precision. The border is decorated with meander motifs (Greco) and lotus friezes.
​Details: The dome of the conch is crowned by a floral medallion centered on a turquoise of beautiful blue-green, symbolizing vital energy. The tip and the mouthpiece are worked in stepped tiers with bodhi leaf motifs.
​Usage: Prestige object intended for a monastic altar or for a religious dignitary for libation and invocation rituals.

​Matériaux : Argent massif (testé/poinçonné), conque naturelle, cabochon de turquoise naturelle.
​Iconographie : L'imposante monture en argent est un chef-d'œuvre de travail au repoussé. L'aile principale est ornée d'un Dragon des Nuages (Druk), symbole de souveraineté spirituelle, dont les écailles et les moustaches sont ciselées avec une grande précision. La bordure est décorée de motifs de méandres (grecques) et de frises de lotus.
​Détails : Le dôme de la conque est coiffé d'un médaillon floral centré d'une turquoise d'un beau vert-bleu, symbolisant l'énergie vitale. La pointe et l'embouchure sont travaillées en gradins avec des motifs de feuilles de bodhi.
