This is a KATO EF58 electric locomotive model (N gauge, 1:150 scale), finished in classic brown Japanese National Railways (JNR) livery. The EF58 is one of Japan’s most iconic electric locomotives from the Shōwa era (昭和), widely appreciated by railway enthusiasts and collectors.
This model is an older production by KATO (関水金属, Sekisui Kinzoku), known for its high-quality detailing and reliable motor performance. The locomotive runs smoothly and both headlights are confirmed working. Included are additional number plates and the original KATO display case.
The item shows minor signs of use consistent with age, but remains in good operational condition. A fine collectible piece for N gauge railway enthusiasts or collectors of Japanese model trains.
