The Pioneer SX-300 (also known as the Sound Project 300) is a vintage receiver from '73-'76.
The Pioneer SX series is known today for its warm, musical sound and solid build quality.
Despite the low wattage of 7 W into 8 ohms, it is often praised for sounding more powerful than the figures suggest, especially when paired with efficient speakers.
441 x 132 x 324 mm; weighs about 6 kg.
In mint condition apart from one small cosmetic flaw, see the last photo.
Fully serviced, all potentiometers cleaned (no crackling knobs anymore). Lighting restored. Supplied with a new power cord.

De SX-serie van Pioneer, staat het tegenwoordig bekend om zijn warme, muzikale geluid en degelijke bouwkwaliteit.
Ondanks het lage wattage 7 W bij 8 Ohm. wordt het vaak geprezen omdat het "krachtiger" klinkt dan de cijfers doen vermoeden, vooral in combinatie met efficiënte luidsprekers.
