Description from the seller
Created to celebrate Goldorak’s 50th anniversary, this poster pays homage to one of the most iconic robots in popular culture. Halfway between Japanese tradition and contemporary pop culture, the work combines Goldorak’s mythic iconography with a composition inspired by Japanese woodblock prints, with Mount Fuji in the background.
The number 50 (1975–2025) marks a strong temporal marker, symbolizing five decades of influence, nostalgia, and intergenerational transmission. The line is intentionally graphic and bold, blending reverence for the myth with a contemporary artistic interpretation.
This limited edition is conceived as a collectible piece, aimed at fans of Japanese culture, iconic robots, and narrative pop art.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with dual meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October; he also gained a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place in the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making his mark in the digital art market, a major trend in the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and textural play define a style that is now a must.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Established & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneering Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Mona Lisa by Da Vinci, Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer, The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic reminiscent of Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion brand logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca‑Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textures that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
