AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Junghans wall clock – model A52 – sold in Stockholm 1932

Original German wall clock by Junghans, model A52, sold in Stockholm in 1932 (original retailer label on the back: Sven Lagerkrans, Urmakeri & Urhandel, Götgatan).
Classic and well-proportioned wooden case with a calm, timeless design. The case is in very good condition, with a nice, even patina and only minor signs of age.

The clock is equipped with a mechanical Junghans movement (marked A52), time and strike, with a rod gong and four hammers.

The movement has been cleaned and oiled. The clock runs very well and keeps good time.

Please note:
The striking mechanism is currently not active. The issue is a worn mainspring responsible for the strike, which needs replacement. This is a typical and straightforward service for this type of movement.

The dial is original, metal, diameter approx. 17 cm, with clear Arabic numerals and characteristic Junghans hands.

Condition:
Very good overall condition. Case well preserved. Movement running. Strike requires service (spring replacement).

Dimensions:
Height: 65 cm (25.6 inches)
Width: 31 cm (12.2 inches)
Depth: 17 cm (6.7 inches)

A solid and honest Junghans clock with documented history and good potential after minor service.

Carefully packed for safe international shipping.
