Description from the seller
Art Deco style table, characterized by a strong presence on stage and by high-quality workmanship in noble burr wood, with rich and deep grain that creates a natural decorative effect of great impact.
The rectangular top, with softly rounded corners, features a refined panel composition with decorative inlays that enhance its geometry. The mirror-polished finish highlights the burl, giving depth and brightness to the surface.
The structure is distinctive and solid:
* double plinth with cylindrical columns, imposing and perfectly proportioned
* shaped circular bases, ensuring stability
* clean and elegant lines, typical of 1930s design
This piece is crafted with high-level cabinetmaking, evident in the selection and juxtaposition of the burrs, in the precision of the inlays, and in the quality of the varnishing, performed with traditional multi-pass processes.
The construction shows meticulous attention to detail and structural solidity, typical of artisanal production.
The table fits within the Art Deco context (1920s–1940s), a style that combines elegance, geometry, and precious materials.
Typical characteristics:
* use of precious burr wood
* geometric and monumental volumes
* design conceived for representational environments
