Description from the seller
OVERVIEW/CONDITIONS
Beautiful Lancia Aurelia B24S came off the assembly line on October 27, 1958 and was originally destined for the American market, as confirmed by the Certificate of Origin issued in May 2021 by the Centro Storico Fiat. It was painted in “Grigio” with red leather interiors, colors that match the current ones.
The car returned to Italy in the 1980s, and in 1989 it was bought by an important collector from Bergamo who entrusted it to Kappa, the Lancia specialist workshop of reference at the time, for a complete restoration. In 1995 it was purchased by a Brescia collector and has remained in the same family ever since.
Currently it presents itself in good condition. The nickel iridescent gray paintwork harmonizes perfectly with Pininfarina’s timeless design, making this one of the most beautiful convertibles of all time, immortalized in several films, including Dino Risi’s Il Sorpasso.
The engine bay, meticulously finished, houses the 2.5-liter V6, which gives this car the smoothness and responsiveness befitting its status as a luxury sports cabriolet.
Rare (only 512 produced), elegant, technically refined and in excellent condition, this Aurelia B24S offers the opportunity to own one of the most iconic Italian cars of the 1950s.
Second-equipment engine replaced in the 1990s due to a breakdown, still with an original B24 engine no. 1446. The engine runs perfectly.
The bodywork and interior are in good condition; it has been used only for a few rallies per year.
DOCUMENTATION
Black Italian license plate on white background BG-6 numbers, 1995 ASI Gold Plate Certificate, 1996 FIVA International Identity Card, double keys, 2021 Lancia Classiche Certificate of Origin.
Pickup in the province of Brescia, Italy.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
