Voigtlnder Brillant Analogue camera

The Voigtländer Brillant is a vintage camera produced starting in the 1930s, famous for its distinctive design, similar to biottiche twin-lens reflexes. It uses 120 film and takes 6x6 photographs, offering images with a strong retro charm and excellent performance for the era.

The early models were called “pseudo TLRs,” because although they had two front lenses they did not allow true focusing through the viewfinder like the more expensive Rolleiflex. Focusing was in fact achieved through preset distances such as portrait, group, and landscape.

Produced initially in metal and later also in Bakelite, the Brillant was a simple yet elegant camera, highly appreciated for its bright viewfinder and for its compact design compared with other TLRs of the era. Today it is sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of analog photography for its unique style and the historical value it represents.
