French mantel clock in gilded régule from the late 19th century. Surmounted on one side by a standing man with a scythe in his hand, and on the other side by a woman with a sheaf of ears of corn. Numerous floral volutes adorn this clock and it is very elaborately worked. Note: the mechanism is intact with a balance wheel, but the piece that holds the balance wheel needs to be replaced.
