Spectacular large tooth belonging to Basilosaurus, one of the most impressive and formidable primitive whales of the Eocene. This fang reaches an exceptional size, well above average, becoming a piece of enormous visual and scientific impact.
The tooth is rooted, a highly sought feature and increasingly difficult to find in specimens of this size. Its preservation is excellent and its display in a case is outstanding.
The piece has been professionally restored, ensuring stability and an impeccable presentation without compromising its authenticity.
