Adjustable Mid-Century desk lamp - Staff Leuchten-styled design - 1970s

Elegant Mid-Century Modern desk lamp, produced in Germany between the late 1960s and early 1970s.

The lamp stands out for its minimalist and functional design: the rectangular metal shade lacquered white, with softly rounded corners, slides vertically along a chrome-plated steel rod thanks to an original knurled locking screw. This mechanism allows you to adjust the height and orientation of the light beam according to needs.

The color combination of pure white and glossy chrome is typical of high-quality German and Italian production of the period (attributable to the Staff Leuchten style). The lamp rests on a solid, well-balanced circular base.

Conditions: Excellent vintage condition, with slight signs of aging that attest to its originality. Original period wiring and fully functional.
Minimalist and functional. The off-center “stem” structure and the rectangular shade with rounded corners are classic elements of industrial/office lighting of that era.
