Description from the seller

-- "Charming Tibet in good condition"
-- Professionally cleaned*
-- approx. 90,000 knots per m²
-- With Certificate

*Before entering our warehouse, cleaned at a laundry specialized in hand-knotted rugs, then not used again.

This is a hand-knotted Oriental rug, made from sustainable, natural materials. The way of knotting and the diversity of patterns make this rug unique and emphasize its authentic and artisanal character.
This concerns an excellent used rug with an extremely long lifespan.

This is a lightly used, cleaned rug that can be laid as is. This beautiful Tibet rug is hand-knotted with the finest, unbleached wool sourced from sheep in the high Tibet region. This wool is naturally extra fatty due to the cold temperatures (acts as an insulator for sheep). When this wool is used in rugs it not only provides a beautiful, extra sheen but also serves as a natural protective layer. Wool of better quality is (almost) not available. Natural color variation is visible, due to the wool not being bleached before the first dye bath. This gives the rug an authentic appearance, and contributes to the character of this rug full of stories.

Hoofdkleur: Groen
