Description from the seller
IN HIGHLIGHT:
• Reconstruction and homage to the famous Fiat 500 "Jolly" Spiaggina
• Full professional restoration completed in 2025 by a specialized body shop
• New professional paint in the Rosso Corallo shade
• Fully handmade interiors with beige vinyl front seats and rear bench inspired by Jolly
• 499 cc twin-cylinder engine and gearbox revised in 2025, with only 249 km indicated after restoration
STORY/PANORAMA:
The Fiat 500, conceived by Dante Giacosa and introduced in 1957, has represented the symbol of mass motorization and Italian automotive design worldwide. Among the most iconic and exclusive derivatives stands out the famous "Jolly" version created by Carrozzeria Ghia, designed as a leisure and beach car for the world’s most refined international clientele. This specimen was born as an homage and reconstruction in the style of the "Jolly" Spiaggina, based on the Fiat 500 mechanical with a 499 cc inline twin-cylinder engine and a four-speed manual gearbox with rear-wheel drive. The car underwent a full professional restoration completed in 2025 and has been stored in a covered garage. The odometer shows 249 km driven after completion of the works.
BODY/PAINT:
The bodywork is in excellent condition, having been fully restored in 2025 at a specialized body shop. The professional paintwork is performed to a high standard in the Rosso Corallo hue, appearing glossy and free of scratches or rust. The underbody is sound and requires no welding. Front and rear tubular bumpers, chrome trim, windows and seals are new and in excellent condition. Completing the exterior are 15-inch wheels with chrome hubcaps and new whitewall tires.
INTERIORS:
The cabin was completely redone during the restoration in a custom Jolly-inspired configuration. It features front seats and a beige artisan vinyl rear bench coordinated with the rest of the interior, in like-new condition with no wear or tears. The dashboard, headliner, door panels and the spoke wheel steering wheel are in excellent overall condition, and the car is equipped with the full beach car setup.
MECHANICS:
The 499 cc inline twin-engine and the four-speed manual gearbox were revised during the 2025 restoration. The engine starts immediately whether cold or hot, with no smoke or oil leaks. The clutch, braking system, suspension, battery and steering have been overhauled. The most recent roadworthiness inspection (revision) was passed successfully in 2026 and the vehicle is drivable.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
