Statue, achille - 24 cm - Brass

The sculpture depicted is made of finely worked and carefully chased brass, resting on black marble with white veins; it depicts the legendary Greek hero Achilles armed with shield and spear, the central figure in Homer's Iliad during the Trojan War, standing on his war chariot with his two trusted and unstoppable horses, Xanto and Balio.
