Antique silver table bell, 200 g weight, made of .833 silver, dimensions 175 × 100 × 100 mm, origin Netherlands, dating to 1800–1850, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.

Heavy, antique, silver dining-table bell. Made before 1852, made on occasion of or in remembrance of or in appreciation of, etc. etc.
Create a statement with this bell, equipped with beautiful (intricate) engravings that beautifully display the craftsmanship of a bygone era. The name inscription is unknown.
This silver Dinner Table Bell/tea bell has four authenticity marks namely:
1) A hallmark of the year of inspection S (is 1852)
2) A master mark with the letter "H" in it (unknown)
3) The Minerva hallmark with an A in the helmet (certification office Amsterdam)
4) The right-facing lion with a number (2 or II) underneath.
Description of the lot,
Handle with sixfold decorative flat distribution runs from pointed via the grip thickening to the very beautifully made and artfully engraved, clock-shaped lower bell.
The bell itself is double; the outer bell is silver and the inner additional bell is copper to achieve the bright tone. The outer bell is artfully and gracefully engraved and provided with the required hallmarks.

The whole is a paragon of craftsmanship from bygone times.
