What are foo dogs?
These are traditional Chinese protective lion figures that have been used for centuries as guardians at temples, palaces and important buildings. They symbolize protection, strength and prosperity
Traditionally the male specimen (with ball under the paw) is placed on the right and the female (with cub) on the left, viewed from the building
