Historic archive lot attributed to Ito Mancini, featuring a Sidecar and cabriolet car from 1912, consisting of five items in excellent condition, with an autographed signature and original/official authenticity.
Description from the seller
Incredible archive lot belonging to Ito Mancini, a pioneer of Abruzzo motoring and an excellent musician (mandolinist) of the era. The lot offers rare and coherent documentation of the birth of Italian motorization. The lot includes:
- rare photo postcard (1912) depicting Ito Mancini at the controls of his sidecar. The postcard is signed, properly stamped, and cancelled with a postmark dated October 11, 1912, and it traveled.
- two unpublished photographs from the period showing him aboard his Amilcar Cabriolet.
- historical driving license. Original document/photo card with signature and stamp. On the back, though deteriorated, the reference to the Law of June 30, 1912 is clearly legible, the first national regulation on mechanical circulation. An extremely rare documentary piece.
- antique medal with photo.
This is a certified biographical archive of a person identified and known.
