Antique Walking Cane with Silver Handle

Marked with 800 indicating silver.

The cane is in good, sturdy condition. The silver handle is well preserved, with minor signs of normal wear consistent with age. Stylised with detailed, embossed floral motifs, characteristic of the Art Nouveau style, the handle bears a later, small inscription: “A. Thijs 1932”

This handsome walking stick is sturdy and suitable for daily use (for a person approximately 1.75–1.85 m in height), but also highly decorative as a display piece.

Condition: Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance: Acquired from a Brussels estate.

A fine antique that remains fully functional and practical, in very good overall condition.
