A delightful Art Nouveau metal group with stone base, depicting two animals known for their cunning: a fox and a raven, measuring circa 20,5cm in height and weighing 1330g, the fox staring up at the bird which is perched on a tree stump and holding a biscuit in its beak. Signed to the reverse M. LeVerrier. The sculpture was one of a pair of bookends.

Condition: Minor paint loss at the base of the fox´s tail, otherwise good.
