Leica 1F 1951 first batch black dial
Leica 1F body number 564701 with a black shutter dial. This comes from the first batch of 2,200 units from 1951. Of these, only 1,188 had the black shutter dial and the old time indicators. So 1/25, 1/50, 1/75, 1/100, 1/200 and 1/500 instead of the new markings 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, etc. Camera Exchange US lists the description as "rarest Leica screw mount." These details are believed to be correct to the best of our knowledge.
