A German mid‑century cabinet from the 1960s–1970s with a veneered wood body and a rotating chromed metal frame, dimensions 110 cm high, 86 cm wide and 44 cm deep, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
This compact mid-century cabinet furniture from the 1960s impresses with its clear, restrained design language and the high-quality veneer finish with lively wood grain. The cabinet body is kept simple and is elegantly supported by the swiveling metal frame with a four-armed base, which gives the piece a light, almost hovering feel.
The two doors are equipped with original-type metal hinges that run the full height, allowing a complete opening. Inside there is a shelf providing functional storage space.
The cabinet is in authentic, age-appropriate condition. The veneer has been professionally touched up in places; minor repairs are visible, but do not affect stability or use. The surface shows a beautiful, matured patina.
The metal frame is rotatable and sturdy, a functional detail that also underlines the distinctive design approach of this era.
A period-typical, versatile piece of furniture with honest character and clear, linear styling.
The leg will be unscrewed for shipping.
