Magnificent bronze clock with a very handsome dial; movement bearing the mark of Japy & Cie, Hors Concours, 1878.
The time is displayed by open-work hands and Roman numerals. It is a clock of solid, high quality.
The clock will be carefully packed and sent by registered mail. Photos complete this description. Some fine adjustment after transport may be necessary.
Regulating the running speed of the pendulum clock is done by moving the pendulum bob (the metal disk at the bottom of the pendulum) up or down.
The pendulum is of a later date.
