Description from the seller
This mid-century piece of furniture from the 1960s is also part of a larger modular wall unit and is characterized by its clean, functional lines as well as the warm wood grain. The combination of an open display cabinet and a three-drawer chest in the lower section makes it particularly versatile – ideal for books, decorations, or practical storage.
The upper cabinet features two full-width adjustable shelves and offers generous open storage space. Below are three wide drawers with a clean, handleless front design typical of the era. The drawers run smoothly and offer plenty of space. The shelves are in a very well-kept condition.
The furniture is in authentic original condition. There are age-related signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and smaller abrasions on edges and interior surfaces. Isolated slight splits or cracks in the wood are visible, especially in more heavily used areas. These marks do not affect stability, but emphasize the original vintage character.
The legs have been added or renewed, but stylistically align with the era and fit harmoniously into the overall look.
An honest, functional piece of furniture with beautiful patina and the typical 60s aesthetic – ideal as a standalone piece or to complement an existing modular wall. The pieces are not screwed together or firmly connected.
