AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Cat. no. 104KIT HTM 151-167, cream, low-roof, red, year of production 1981, 40 pieces.
This is a self-built kit assembled by an enthusiast.

The little motor has been tested and works, but after years of inactivity it needs some TLC.
Overall condition: somewhat yellowed
The cab has interior and passengers.

The trams of series 151-168 were actually lowered 'Ford-type' trams. They were built in 1907 to run on tramlines 3 and 4, which at that time passed over the Binnenhof and had to drive under the three low gates there. Because alongside series 1-20 from 1904 there was a need for more trams with a low roof, the 'low-roof' series 151-168 were acquired. Due to the crisis, their planned modernization in the 1930s did not go ahead. Motor car 164 served last until 1955, among other things as an advertising tram.
