Description from the seller
"Ceramic birdhouse
This series of birdhouses was born from a desire to shift approach, to step away from my usual typologies and explore a freer, more decorative object. I wanted to work with a more instinctive drawing, applying to a new shape the materials and textures I love: rough stoneware and this drip-effect glaze that has accompanied me for a long time. A project set apart, more intuitive, born from a need to play, to experiment — far from daily function, but always in the gesture."
MATERIALS: Glazed stoneware
About Lucas Huillet:
Trained at the École Camondo in design and interior architecture. This academic path opened doors to collaborations with prestigious houses and institutions.
In 2018, he founded his studio as a space of exploration where ceramics, interior architecture and object design intersect, centered on an expertise in working with natural materials, allowing the creation of pieces that are both everyday objects and works in their own right. Today, the studio continues to combine traditional craft and contemporary innovation, with the aim of creating objects that carry meaning and authenticity.
Lucas Huillet’s creations have been exhibited notably at Paris Design Week, Collectible in Brussels, or Dubai’s Al Shindagha Museum."
